18 month contract starting July 2019, Public Relations Level 4 qualification

Role Responsibility

What part will you play?

You will become a key part of the WBIE regional team working closely with the PR and Social and Marketing managers to ensure that our local markets across EMEA can create and execute the best PR campaigns possible.

The primary function of the role is to source, localise and traffic Community & PR assets by working closely with the Marketing Intern and Global WB PR teams (e.g. TV spots, trailers, behind-the-scenes videos, dev diaries)

  • Support PR Managers in the creation of press events and studio tours
  • Assist the International Communications team in sourcing and trafficking press assets, (including the distribution/localisation of press releases and social assets) to the 8 European offices
  • Compile and summarise highlights from WBIE press clippings reports for the global and international regional office.
  • Competitive analysis and research reporting both through paid and earned social and media channels.
  • Provide general admin support for entire International Communications team.
  • Assist with Purchase Orders, invoices and general admin tasks
  • Supporting with asset coordination between social agency and internal marketing teams
  • Maintaining an up-to-date influencer and community contact list, suggesting new contacts where relevant
  • Supporting Int’l Social and Community Management with strategy and social/community led ideas for WB
  • Managing PO tracking and invoicing for social and community budget in addition to monitoring yearly social budget defined by Intl Social and Community Management

The Ideal Candidate

What do we require from you?

  • Educated to A level or equivalent standard with grade C or above in both English and Maths at GCSE
  • A willingness to learn more about the field of public relations
  • A keen interest in video games or the industry
  • Must be organised and disciplined with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Must be self-motivated, focused and be able to work with limited supervision
  • Must be analytical and have close attention to detail
  • Good sense of humour and ability to keep cool under pressure

Bonus points for?

  • Work experience within a team dynamic a plus
  • Additional language (French, German, Spanish, Italian)
